Maggie Sawyer completely changed my perspective on myself.

I found her character when I was in one of the darkest times of my life. I was struggling tremendously with my sexuality and I felt like I wasn’t valid or worthy of a happy ending. Maggie changed that for me. It was the first time I had seen myself in a character and could relate to her story. Knowing Maggie had been able to overcome the struggles she had with her sexuality continues to help me to remember that I am just as valid, and just as worthy as anyone else. My outlook on myself has completely changed. Knowing how much Maggie has done for me and for so many others shows just how meaningful she is for so many people.

I’ll forever be grateful for the strength and representation I found within Maggie Sawyer.
