Maggie Sawyer was the driving force I needed to come out to everyone around me. From everything she said, to the way she kept her confidence through everything she went through.

When Maggie said “you deserve a real, full happy life”, I knew in that moment that I didn't want to hide who I was anymore.

It also helped me that Floriana is such a great advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and really portrayed the character wonderfully.

Floriana Lima and Maggie Sawyer are truly my heroes and I am so grateful they both exist.
